Avatar won the two most prestigious awards at the Golden Globe Awards ,Best motion picture – Drama, and best Directing – James Cameron.
The Golden globes are a strong indicator of where the Oscars will go, so it looks promising for the future as well.

Avatar is brilliant – especially if you watched fern gully as a child or parent! So don’t hesitate to go.
I couldn’t believe I’d been in the cinema for 3 1/4 hours because I was so absorbed by the film. Possibly the best film Ive ever seen. You need to find your nearest IMAX 3D to fully appreciate the effect – it will transport you into another world. This is what true entertainment is about.
