I saw on the net that one scene that was deleted was where Sully explains to Neytiri that he is in another body when he’s sleeping. It’s a shame they took that out as it’s kind of important.

She knows he isn’t a real Na’vi as he has 5 fingers – the Na’vi have only four, plus he has eyebrows, whereas true Na’vi do not.
This explains why the war paint hand print on Neytiri near the end can only be Jake’s due to the extra digit.
